“Courage” by Eureka C. Bianzon

First you might be the bird with fragile wings
Hesitant to fly for the scared of falling in
And when you tried to leap on few steps
You started giving in
Yet your heart held the courage
To continue moving in

You took the risk of flying for so many times
Learned from the mistakes that once held your pride
But when you started accepting things for
The benefit of your life
Your courage developed more and that made you
More to strive

Now you’ve flown high, you reached into the sky
And tried looking back that you were in
Hard time to fly
Now you built in your future, you have a good and
Brighter life
Your courage and hope made your head held up high

Continue flying high and be the courage to those
Birds who wish to fly
Be someone who will tell them
“Dude! Never hesitate to give a try”
Be an instrument of courage and lead them to a world
That is so bright
For one day once you’ll fly together you’ll be thankful
That behind this life you made things right
