“Repentance” by Eureka C. Bianzon

His eyes were red as wine
As he knelt asking for forgiveness that time
He was praying for God’s mercy & divine
Repentance and sincerity in his heart intertwined
His eyes never stayed dry
From regretting the mistakes he have done
His heart’s sincerity flown as he cried
That May the Lord God forgive him as his son
Poor choices he had made
Many years of his life have been wasted
The only answer for him was only one
God’s forgiveness for the dire mistakes
He have done
He hoped for another chance
A time to change and spend his remaining years
Doing good deeds for a new life perchance
To draw himself closer to God
And prepare him for life of eternity….
