NURSE’S POEM

“Angels on duty shoes” by Eureka Bianzon

A smile from us makes them strong

For we knew that they are weak

We have the patience to wait for long

To hear about their feelings & allow them speak

We have the time to stay on their side

To ease their feelings of discomfort

We care because we empathize

We assumed that we need plenty of effort

We are angels on duty shoes

Angels in disguise

This is  a calling on the job we chose

Being a nurse we need to sacrifice

Staying up for long  hours

Walking here and there

Visiting each patients during duty hours

Rendering them the best of our care

Seeing them well give us the happiest smile

As long as they’re getting ok ,it keeps our head high

Patients recovery relieves our tiredness

It makes us strong,to continue our heartfelt services
